Dr. Josh Vega graduated from the University of Texas Health Science Center School of
Dentistry receiving awards for clinical and educational excellence, including the Dental Student
Award from the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He was also elected by
faculty members into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society, which was
created in 1914 for dentists who distinguish themselves by a high grade of scholarship and
character. 
He completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery specialty training at Jackson Memorial Hospital
and the University of Miami in the full spectrum of oral and maxillofacial surgery including
dentoalveolar, dental implants, major facial trauma, orthognathic surgery, head and neck
pathology and reconstructive surgery. 
Dr. Vega strives to practice with integrity and compassion, with a desire to form a genuine
relationship with each patient. He is fluent in both English and Spanish. 
In his free time he enjoys living a healthy lifestyle, watching movies, and spending time with his
family and outdoors.
